RESONANCE

The formation of theatre represents a clearer determination of audience and actor identity, and through my observations of modern theatre models, it is evident that many boundaries between audience and actor have been consciously set. At the same time, however, more theatrical models are enhancing the interaction between audience and actor, such as immersive theatre.

Does it seem that the relationship between audience and actor has developed in a retrograde way in modern theatre? Or is the notion of audience and actor as one in themselves carried through?

The installation finally combines handmade drums with touchdesigner to simulate a ‘miniature theatre’ where audience and actors are one and the same.
