Carrying Yinan’s memories of London and the end of her time as a student, LONDON is a souvenir for her loved ones and herself. People being the most significant part of artist’s experience is what connects her to the city. She used different ways of embroidery to portrait people; she combined floor plans of three properties where she lived before in London as the layout of her work, expressing the structure by different prints she created based on her memory collages and instant photos…

Through mapping London from her own perspective, she wants to highlight the power of memory and inspires the viewers to embrace, cherish and redefine the moments, people and things around them.
