“祟” is a Chinese word that refers to supernatural entities that existed in folklore, similar to” 妖怪（Yokai）”, both of which can also represent almost all unexplainable phenomena on a larger scale. They are not simply feudal superstitions but a reflection of the state of society, human psychology, and the evolution of civilization. And such an animistic worldview has traditionally influenced ancient Chinese religious conceptions of nearly everything.

This project is a cultural Renaissance of Chinese culture and folklore, as well as the journey of searching for Eastern roots.
